Microlight Flying Experience Days: Fly amongst the clouds during this sixty minute microlight flying lesson over London. Marvel at breath-taking aerial views of London as you learn how to control the aircraft!
Prior to your flight, you will meet your expert instructor at a flying school in Essex. After a safety briefing and run down of what to expect, you will join your qualified pilot in the cockpit of the microlight aircraft. In your hour flying lesson, you will learn the basics of how to control a plane, and safely fly one! Once you're ready, take the controls and fly the plane yourself. Like the 30 minute flight option, you will depart from Essex and head as far as the O2 in London. The One hour flight will give you more time to soar through the sky and take in more panoramic city views of central London. With no previous experience needed and expert supervision throughout, this beginner level lesson is perfect taster for those who are interested in flying.
This sixty minute microlight flight over London makes for a memorable experience gift for thrill-seekers and budding pilots.
When can you book London 60 Minute Microlight Flight Experience
The Microlight Flight Experiences over London run up to 7 days a week, throughout the year. Dates are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Flying Requirements
There is no licence required for the Microlight Flight Experience over London. Participants will fly with a CAA qualified instructor, or an experienced qualified pilot, appointed by the flying school.
Participants must be minimum 14 years old to take part in this experience. Anyone under the age of 18 must attend with a parent or guardian.
Maximum weight: 14st 11lbs (95kg)
Maximum Height: 6'1" (74")
Participants cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol during their flight.
Unfortunately, the Microlight Flight Experiences are not wheelchair accessible.
